The Dawn Of A New Age Of Inspiration

I’m glad you stopped by to meet me, hear about my newest project, check out my novels, and like my site. I have much to share.

Most exciting, I am now an independent author. I never thought I’d go this route, but circumstances in the publishing world have drastically changed and I needed to change with it.

A foolish dream has been shattered. I wasted too many years seeking a quality literary agent who would guarantee author celebrity status. Each rejection had me writing a new novel that I believed would be accepted. Never happened. Novels piled up in my computer. So, I took the next step and hooked up with an Independent publisher. Unfortunately, although Black Opal Books created a professional manuscript, they had limited ability to market a novel. All marketing and the development of sales fell on my shoulders. All independent publishers act in a similar fashion as well as traditional publishers. Then the publishing world changed. Most likely due to Amazon. Ebooks became the dominant way to read a novel. Book stores closed. My publisher became dysfunctional. I pondered a new direction. Indie author! However, I was a poor editor. Fate intervened, and I could purchase quality editing programs. Amazing! Beta readers ensured my novels met their high standards.

I want to thank all the readers from around the world who will never be irrelevant. You read books based on the author’s talent and creativity and not on profiteers. I really appreciate that.

In a few minutes I will be publishing my latest novel, FORRESTER'S FOLLY, on Amazon. It is a senior romance, although everyone would enjoy it. In 2015, Black Opal Books published this novel, Stardust Dreams, and it was well received but poorly marketed by me. During this time, BOB was sold or given away, and its professionalism suffered. Due to Amazon's policy and not giving authors back our rights, the title needed to be changed. I hold the copywrite.

Forrester’s Folly is a love story. Lance is a scientist and a dreamer. Beyond his lifetime, he wants to see the future and meet alien civilizations in the galaxy. After a celebrated career as an astronaut, he and a friend build a spacecraft at their secret New Mexico ranch, intending to find new destinies in the magnificent universe. Unfortunately, his friend dies. Now an octogenarian with a diagnosis of terminal cancer, it is the appointed time to set a launch date. Not wishing to have a solo flight, he seeks a suitable traveling companion. No luck. Just then, after having given up, fate intervenes. He learns a beautiful high school girl he had a crush on is also near death. Attempting the Impossible, Lance flies to California, hoping to convince Sage Saint Charles, an ancient movie star, to join him on his fanciful quest to reach an advanced alien civilization that will cure their cancers and extend their lives. On the ship, the computers will guide their voyage while cryogenic chambers preserve their DNA and memories. Mysteries abound! Will Sage push aside her tragic past and profound distrust of people to join Lance? If she joins him, will Lance and Sage overcome the emotional scars of their first lives and achieve true happiness, or will they be doomed to suffer, no matter how far from Earth they go? The only way you’ll learn their fate is to join them on this epic journey.

This is my premier novel as an Indie author, The Demon Hunters: Succubus Resurrection. It can be purchased in ebook and paperback formats. This is a historical horror novel set in the early 1960s. You have not and will not have ever met a demon this diabolical.

As an Indie author now, Dead Can't Haunt You was A Sinister Obsession. The title change had to occur because Amazon has a policy of not removing books from their site, even though I hold the copyright. Returning it to the bookshelves, it has improved edits, and dramatic updates. While new reviews will come, you can view previous highly rated reviews at Amazon of A Sinister Obsession by S. B. Redstone.

A homicidal maniac with a sinister obsession is on a quest to realize a lifelong dream. Leaving behind a string of seemingly unrelated and cruel murders, Detective Sergeant Aubrey McKenzie, of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Maryland Department of State Police will not solve this mystery unless she can first discover the Who before she can discover the Why . . .

Aubrey is a fabulously wealthy, dark-haired Scot with an iron will that was forged in the inferno of human tragedy. Unbeknownst to this narcissistic psychopath, Aubrey is on the hunt, but dissimilar to all other detectives, who would end up with a dead end, when confronted with this mystery and a lack of clues, she can rely on her paranormal ability which has been invaluable in her police work, but has made a disaster of her social life.

Evidence sends Aubrey to Pittsburgh, where fate teams her with Detective Lieutenant Joshua Diamond. He is a handsome, talented, and compassionate guy who is more than happy eating a bacon cheeseburger and wearing clothes that should have been thrown out with the trash. In a race against time, Aubrey and Josh must track down this elusive fiend before further lives are destroyed. Disaster strikes Aubrey! Passion melts her resistance to Josh’s charm. Unfortunately, to have an intimate relationship with this guy, she’ll be forced to deal with the terror of revealing her mutant gene.

I’ve just published my latest novel, Time Of The Lioness: Internet Apocalypse, Book 1. It is for sale on Amazon in ebook and paperback formats. As the eclectic author, this apocalyptic thriller should have you terrified of your future. Like Shakespeare and Hemmingway, my stories are not genre generated, but evolve from my knowledge of human nature and my passions.

You’re at work, in school, at home, out shopping, trapped in an elevator, or sky-high on an amusement park ride when the power and lights suddenly go out. For a moment, you’re just annoyed, expecting only a momentary problem. Doesn’t happen! Along with the power outage, all means of communication have been severed. The Internet is down and a terrorist’s face gloats. Fear now creeps into your optimism. Hours later, with a world overly dependent on cyberspace, global economies begin to crumble from this irrevocable cyberattack. Totally freaked out, you’ve now become a prisoner of inertia—clueless about how to deal with anarchy, cruelty, and violence.

Annie Oakley Frye is a Cyber Warfare Specialist accepted cyberspace had become a cesspool of evil based on the multitude of daily cyberattacks. Annie does not live in a dystopian, fantasy world like Katniss Everdeen, Beatrice Prior, and Lara Croft—she lives among us. Once she discovers this invisible menace is lurking in a million networks, and it can’t be stopped from obliterating world economies, she sheds her mild-mannered personality and becomes the lioness of her youth to survive. Out of kindness she warns her friends about this approaching cyber nightmare, but they scoff at her insider information and doomsday scenario, believing the government won't let it happen. Once the cyber nightmare launches a surprise arrives at her door!  Amazon -
