Welcome

Welcome

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you're here to check out my latest novel, and as a multi-genre author, all my other works. My Blog Page presents my latest news.

I am not a commercial writer. I don't write repetitive genres and stories to put bread on my table. As the banner states, I only write stories based upon my passions that have entertained my readers. Unfortunately, too small a group so far.

As an indie author, I've never been as happy producing high quality and interesting novels. Prior to that decision, I never planned on going this route, but circumstances in the publishing world drastically changed for me and most other writers, and I needed to change with it.

When I first began to write, on a typewriter, I thought I'd be sending my manuscripts to publishers. Didn't happen. Literary agents were given acquisition rights and I've never pleased them. My novels piled up, along with the rejections. With time as my enemy, I chose to hook up with an independent publisher whom I thought would be a catalyst for sales. Not so. Although Black Opal Books put out two of my manuscripts, they had no intention of marketing them. All marketing and the development of sales fell on my shoulders. All independent publishers act in a similar fashion, even traditional publishers. To my good fortune, the age of social media arrived, and bookstores went the way of dinosaurs. I could now reach out to readers. Good and bad news, Black Opal books, ended up in freefall. When that happened, I realized I had no control of my novels. No one had control of my novels. At the same time, Amazon changed the book market for authors. They published manuscripts for free! I now had control of all my novels. The last road to success is editing programs. I use 4 of them and they are indispensable and effective. Not one reviewer has mentioned poor editing. Beta readers ensure my novels meet my high standards.
While I promote my novels, I finally understood that literary agents are irrelevant for the majority of authors. Traditional publishers are irrelevant. Independent publishers are irrelevant. And bookstores are now irrelevant. But I want to thank all my readers from around the world who will never be irrelevant. You read books based on the author’s talent and creativity and not on profiteers and celebrity statis. I really appreciate that.

FORRESTER'S FOLLY is a senior romance for a mature audience. It was initially published in 2015 by Black Opal Books, under the title, Stardust Dreams. Due to my poor promotional skills, it was well received by a limited audience. Eventually, Black Opal Books became dysfunctional, and I left them. Due to Amazon's policy, the original title remains. So, I needed to change the title, with a new cover, and a great update. I hold the copywrite.

Purchase at Amazon.

Forrester’s Folly is a love story. Lance Forrester is an astronaut, scientist, and dreamer. Beyond his lifetime, he is obsessed with awakening in a far-distant future, having been saved by a wondrous alien civilization. To accomplish that dream, he and a friend build a secret spacecraft. Unfortunately, his friend dies. Now an octogenarian with a diagnosis of terminal cancer, it is the appointed time to leave family and friends. Not wishing to have a solo flight, he seeks a suitable traveling companion, but finds none. Just then, deep in a gloomy mood, either fate or luck intervenes, and he sees a startling headline on Star Magazine. Sage Saint Charles, an ancient starlet is near death. She was his secret puppy love in high school. Attempting the impossible, Lance flies to California, hoping to convince Sage to join him on his fanciful quest. Mysteries abound! Will Sage push aside her tragic past and profound distrust of people to join Lance? If she joins him, will Lance and Sage overcome the emotional scars of their first lives and achieve true happiness, or will they be doomed to suffer, no matter how far from Earth they travel? I hope you’ll have the curiosity to learn about their futures.

This is my premier novel as an Indie author, The Demon Hunters: Succubus Resurrection. This is a historical horror novel set in the early 1960s. You have not and will not have ever met a demon this real and diabolical.

Purchase at Amazon.

Jam-packed into my riveting novel are demonic possession, life after death, a sex-crazed maniacal demon, the early 1960s during the Kennedy presidency, and an apocalyptic threat to human civilizations.

This emotionally charged story, designed from my warped imagination, is based upon Angela de la Sartre, an actual woman in history, during the Middle Ages, who was falsely accused by the clergy of copulating with Satan. After they burned her mortal body at the stake, she offered her soul to Satan. Now consume with merciless rage, Angela begged Satan to return her to God’s children, so she could enact her revenge against them. Forced to rely on demonic possession to reach a global leader, through sexual intimacy, to own and control. Only the demon hunters have the gift to pursue the invisible succubus, then hopefully outwit her before she succeeds in her mission.

Dissimilar to other demonic stories that entail vague, shadowy villains, I bring this demon to life in an unfamiliar modern age!

A homicidal maniac with a sinister obsession is on a quest to realize a lifelong dream. Leaving behind a string of seemingly unrelated and cruel murders, Detective Sergeant Aubrey McKenzie, of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Maryland Department of State Police will not solve this mystery unless she can first discover the Who before she can discover the Why . . .

Aubrey is a fabulously wealthy, dark-haired Scot with an iron will that was forged in the inferno of human tragedy. Unbeknownst to this narcissistic psychopath, Aubrey is on the hunt. But dissimilar to all other detectives who would end up with a dead end, she can rely on her paranormal ability, which has been invaluable in her police work, but a disaster for her social life.

Evidence sends Aubrey to Pittsburgh, where fate teams her with Detective Lieutenant Joshua Diamond. He is a handsome, talented, and compassionate guy who is more than happy eating a bacon cheeseburger and wearing clothes that should have been thrown out with the trash. In a race against time, Aubrey and Josh must track down this elusive fiend before further lives are destroyed. Disaster strikes Aubrey! Passion melts her resistance to Josh’s charm. Unfortunately, to have an intimate relationship with this guy, she’ll be forced to deal with the terror of revealing her mutant gene.
